Oh, January
Maggie is living her best year, yet. Historically, I do not like January. Not a huge fan of February, either (aside from Valentine's Day). I just don't really like Winter. I love cold weather, fires, hot chocolate, movie nights, skiing, fresh snow...but the start of a new year really tends to be more grey than white and more of a tough transition back to reality than a time for skiing or movie nights. We did get to enjoy the new fire pit with family! Since 2020 was not the most celebrated year's end we've ever experienced, the change has not been drastic, but it still feels grey and blah. I do try to set intentions for myself over the course of the new year, and I've been thinking on that, again, this January. While COVID and quarantine have presented many obstacles and inconveniences, I have also learned a good deal over the past year. I truly enjoy my family and our home has become much more comfortable and functional. I intend to continue those efforts/experien...
