Cleanin' Out My Closet
This past weekend (this whole quarter) was a really busy one for Michael. He's had a lot of projects, which means a lot of studio time and editing in his "free" time when he's not at work or in class. He spent most of Saturday in the studio and the rest of Saturday editing for Sunday morning, so I got lots of alone time.
As an introvert who has been 'on' the last few weeks this did not bother me one bit. I did not make any plans with friends, but I did do something I consider highly enjoyable. I got to clean out our closet. We went to Costco and hit the jackpot. Those wonderful, velvet covered hangers that people have been going on about on Pinterest and certain blogs can be found in bulk, for cheap at Costco. And right next to them? 3 packs of clear plastic bins. You bet I grabbed some of those and went to town.

Both of our clothes, shoes, luggage, mess.
But these girls and I worked really hard all afternoon.
And finally, after about 5 hours of pulling, sorting, shooing cats, hanging, and labeling...
Ta da! Some people talk about that 'runner's high.' I don't get that at all. Running makes me feel a little like dying. But when I see a neat, organized closet. Oh man.
Also, on Sunday afternoon we had to take these girls for a checkup in Norcross, so the whole family hopped in the car and went for a drive.
These girls love to ride in the car.
They're waiting patiently, wanting to get out and roam.
Rachael really prefers to ride on top of the seat:
While Lulu rather enjoys riding under the seat:
They are ridiculous. But healthy, which is good. I've sounded a little froggy myself from all the cat hair, dust, and cleaning. But it was well worth it.
